Abstract

A new series of nickel and copper ions were synthesized from the azo ligand derived from 2,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid and aniline derivative. All ligands and their complexes have been prepared and characterised by IR, Uv-Vis 1HNMR and CHN analysis.  The complexes are investigated as antibacterial agents.
