Rainfall Pattern of Different Tourists’ Destinations in Bangladesh: Using SARIMA Model

Abstract

The Tourism industry is one of the biggest and tremendously developing economic sectors on the planet. As per the study done by world travel and Tourism Council's (WTTC), this area contributes 10.4% of worldwide GDP and makes 10% total employment or 319 million occupations, in 2018. In decision-making process Climate change has direct impact on tourism. Rainfall is one of the most important climatic variables that affect to choose attractive tourists’ areas and the travel plan of tourists in different seasons. Usually the likelihood of peoples visiting depends on the exposure of climatic forecasts. So, prediction of rainfall before travelling has a significant effect on planning. SARIMA model was utilized to anticipate and to distinguish pattern of monthly Rainfall for tourists’ stations of Bangladesh up to 2030. Which might be helpful for the tourist all over the world to enjoy the nature and beauty of Bangladesh in rainy season?
