Zero Investment Innovations for Education Initiatives (ZIIEI)

Abstract

ZIIEI is a large scale initiative to impart and share the best teaching ideas of some of the best teachers of the country to each and every government school of the country which are appropriately 1 million in number.This is the initiaitve started in 2015 by Sri Aurobindo Society as an objective to transform the Indian Education System. It enforced those ideas and innovations in teaching which require zero investment in implementing improving the quality of teaching at a higher level. Under this scheme in April 2019 for the first time TIA is launched which is global Teacher's Innovation Award for Zero-Investment innovation ideas in education initiative across world. In 2015 Uttar Pradesh was the first state to start ZIIEI implementation. In 2017, the program is expanding to 9 more states and 2 union territories, and will reach to 6 lakhs schools.
