Abstract

India is a developing country. For most of the developing countries like India GDP plays an important role. In India, for food production agriculture plays a vital role and contributes around 16% of the GDP shares. The population of India mainly depends on agriculture as their primary source of income. Indians cultivate their lands based on monsoon climate. Due to the increase in pollution and global warming, the availability of water at ground level is decreasing day by day. In most of the places around the globe, people are suffering due to a lack of water. To prevent the water for future generations, now we have to reduce the amount of usage and wastage of water. In agriculture, by using traditional methods more amount of water is wasted. To overcome this problem, we proposed a system which is automatically functioned. In the proposed system, the components Arduino Uno, Soil sensors for sensing the moisture percentage in the soil, Humidity sensor, water pump, and a relay module to activate and deactivate the Arduino Uno board. This system is fully automated which helps the farmers to get the information regarding their field conditions and also helps to reduce the wastage of water.
