Exploring the Essence of Language Skills in NCERT and SCERT Readers of Standard IX and X

Abstract

Technological advancement has contributed a lot to the growth and development of education sector. With more and more facilities like smart classes, qualitative and quantitative learning techniques etc. quality of education has also upgraded a lot. Even though the growth is rapid and effective, there are some students despite having passed their secondary education face difficulty in effective communication. Currently, English has developed and established itself as widely acknowledged global language and thus linguistic ability in English appears to be inevitable in every field. In this fast-moving world, the need and urgency of language proficiency is a very valuable asset which can only be acquired through education.
