A Conceptual model of Decision Support System for UAE Government Agencies

Abstract

The paper outlines the conceptual framework of Decision Support System (DSS) for better performance of UAE government agencies. This research identified three different factors namely existing factors, new potential factors and alternative factors. The existing factors are system quality and data quality. These two factors are integrated with new potential factors which is support quality and problem match. Time and organization size are identified as alternative factor to improve the performance of UAE government agencies. The DSS will be used to aid the UAE government agencies in providing better service to public and provide within government agencies with the information on how to manage corporate governance practices.
