Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the role of incubation centers that help to promote the small - scale enterprises or business. Since the universities in Tamil Nadu are striving to bring more number of entrepreneurs and provide them assistance to nurture innovative business. The incubation centers play a vital, essential role in creation of entrepreneurs because, they are one who develop ideas and provide with the sources of funds, human power and other market potential. One of the prime objectives of the incubation centers is to encourage the entrepreneurial culture among the young and dynamic professionals from initial stage of their curriculum so as to equip them with potentials to become as job provider rather than a job seeker. Depending upon the observation this paper examine the role of technology incubation centers in Tamil Nadu and that facilitates with broader scope of resources and amenities to enhance the start ups and to develop  the SMEs with innovative ideas..
