Virtual Classroom in IT Services Industry: A Literature Perspective

Abstract

Training plays a very vital role in business in this competitive world. This helps in improving the quality of tasks done by employees and also helps in organizational growth. In the 21st century, Information Technology (IT) is growing at a faster rate. The expectation from this industry is very high as technology plays a great role in the growth of the country. Virtual classroom is used IT industry to deliver the training for the to the employee working across the globe. The paper discusses the difference between traditional classroom and virtual classroom. Also, explains the virtual classroom environment with the stakeholders involved in the system. Virtual classroom training is very vital now for Indian IT services industry. The existing systems are not exploiting all the features and factors for effective virtual classroom. Also the paper identifies the gaps in the existing models.
